January 2020
My recent podcast, with singer/song writer, author and producer, Dan Mullins, in Sydney, Australia, just went live. In it, I talk about my Camino, and the people I met along the way; the experience that led to my book. Through thoughtful questioning, Dan explores my writing process and the impact of the Camino on my life. Please check it out! https://player.whooskaa.com/episode?id=543161 |
If your group is looking for a speaker to share an interesting subject,
I would love to come and tell you all about my Camino experience. My Camino PowerPoint presentation takes about 40 minutes, depending on if you'd also like readings form my book, but it can be tailored to fit your time constraints. BOOK CLUBS: ADD INTEREST TO YOUR MEETINGS WITH AN INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHOR! I am happy to do an author's talk for book club groups of four or more reading To Each Their Own Camino. If you have questions, and want to know more about the Camino, or about the self-publication process, we can schedule a visit with your group where I can share photos, stories and information. Just use the CONTACT portion on my webpage to book your event now! October 25, 2019 Vancouver Island Regional Library Author's Night - October 25, 2019

October 25, 2018
A little bit nervous to start, when I started talking about the Camino, the words just flowed. Over 100 people came out for the presentation and the question and answer session was my favourite part! At the end, I asked anyone who had walked any part of the Camino to stand, and was happy to see so many on their feet. I dedicated my final reading, my poem, Belonging, to them and to those who have walked . . . and will walk the Camino. I wished I could have had more time to talk with more people one on one. Maybe one day, I'll have another opportunity to share my journey again. |
